above an arched glazed panel door, enclosing a brass dial
inscribed ‘Eardley Norton London’, with pierced spandrels
around a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and
seconds subsidiary dial, the trunk and plinth base covered
with birds, prunus and pagodas, with weights, key and

Qing dynasty, the flared rim, waisted neck and ovoid body
painted and enamelled with peacocks, stylised chrysanthe-
mums and plum tree contained within leaf shaped reserves,
the base with counter sunk rounded mark with Artemisia
leaf. 45cm high
