A GEORGE II WALNUT CASED STRIKING
BRACKET CLOCK,
by ‘William, Sam & Miller/ London’, with brass carrying han-
dle on an inverted bell shaped hood with applied brass pine-
apple to each corner, above a central arched glazed door and
with glazed rear door, the steeled dial with Roman numerals,
pierced brass spandrels and raised on gilt metal bracket feet.

MOUNTED MANTEL CLOCK
of architectural form, the applied ormolu knopped finial
with outsplayed acanthus leaves, the arched hood with
applied leaf, scroll and fruit mounts and central natural-
istic lion mask, above twin caryatid’s, flanking a circular
dial with Roman numerals and semi-externalised inner
clock mechanics, the glazed base and reserve on stepped
base raised on ormolu circular feet. 74cm high, 39cm wide,
