A 19TH CENTURY TABLECLOTH OF IRISH LINEN
DAMASK made by Coulson and Sons of Lisburn, probably for
the visit of George IV, commissioned by the Earl of Kingston of
Mitchelstown Castle, circular, 411 x 274cm. The central cartou-
che containing the Kingston coat of arms with the crest of raised
hand in each corner and the motto “
Spes Tutissima Coelis
” on a
ribbon banner, and “
Coulsons Lisburn Manufacturers to King
George”
