Provenance : Private Collection, Ireland Tanith also known as ‘Serpent Lady’ is the Phoenician Goddess of Carthage and mother goddess of fertility and the moon. She derives from a local Berber deity and the consort of Ba’al-Hammon. She was also the goddess of wisdom, civilisation and the crafts.
