In the Dublin Directories he is recorded at Clare Street between 1822 and 1844. He is presuma- bly a relation of the Cornelius Callaghan recorded between 1770 and 1815 in Britain Street and Mary Street, a glazier, painter, map and print-seller (see Knight of Glin, ‘Dublin Directories and Trade Labels’, Furniture History, 1985, pp. 263, fig. 7). € 500 - 700
