Finely painted in delicate underglaze cobalt blue shades with two crabs amidst a lotus pond. The base is inscribed in cobalt blue with the mark ‘ngoạn ngọc’, lit. ‘Jade trinket’. Sold together with a collector wooden stand. H: 7,2 cm - D: 18,7 cm € 1,500 - 3,000 351 A GROUP OF TWO (2) BLEU DE HUE PORCELAINS INCLUDING ONE ‘WU FU PENG SHOU - 五褔捧壽 - WUFU GI Ữ TU Ổ I THỌ’ BOWL INSCRIBED WITH THE MARK ‘NHÃ THÂM TRÂN TÀNG’ OR ‘RUO SHEN ZHEN CANG’ 若深珍藏 VIETNAM, NGUYEN DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY Resting on a short tapered foot, with a round body and a met- al-mounted rim. finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue shades with five bats surrounding a ‘longevity’ (‘thọ’) character. the base is in- scribed in underglaze cobalt blue with a four-character mark reading ‘Nhã Thâm Trân Tàng’ (‘ 若深珍藏 ’), lit. ‘Precious Collection of the Seemingly Old’. Also included in this lot is a ‘Fortress and boat’ bleu de hué porcelain bowl inscribed with a calligraphy, its base with an apocryphal four-character mark of Emperor Chenghua. Dimensions (the bat bowl): H: 9 cm- D: 19 cm € 300 - 500 352 A BLEU DE HUE ‘DRAGON - R Ồ NG’ PORCELAIN PEAR-SHAPED BOTTLE VASE VIETNAM, LATE NGUYEN DYNASTY, LATE 19TH CENTURY It rests on a short ring foot and has a pear-shaped body surmounted by a long tubular neck with a slightly everted rim with a metal mount. It is finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue shades with one four-clawed dragon flying amidst clouds in pursuit of the flaming pearl. The base bears several old collector labels including ‘#2 dec 1800’.
