Wearing loose robes. H: 59,5 cm € 3,000 - 5,000 344 AN IMPORTANT AND LARGE GILT AND RED LACQUERED WOODEN SCULPTURE OF A SEATED BUDDHA AMITABHA VIETNAM, NGUYEN DYNASTY, 18TH TO 19TH CENTURY A heavy-casted sculpture, gilt and partial red lacquered. This Buddha is seated in padmasana on a lotus high lotus base, his hands are joined on the front part in bandha mudra, he is wearing loose robes, he has a round and serene face, with meditative half-closed eyes, thin lips and long elongated earlobes, his hairs are curly and his head is topped by a knot or ushnisha.
