102 170 A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN ‘BIRD’ JAR CHINA, QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY, YONGZHENG STYLE It rests on an unglazed ring foot and has an elon- gated globular body surmounted by a waisted neck with an everted rim. It is finely painted in famille rose enamels with reserved medallions, one with three roosters on rocks amidst chrysanthemum and peony flowers, another one with two spar- rows perched on a branch of peonies. Apart from the reserved medallions, the jar is covered with a lozenge pattern. The round shoulder is also adorned with ruyi as well as flowers. There are several seals, possibly signatures of artists, one possibly reading ‘ 佪 ’ or ‘ 徊 ’. H: 35,5 cm € 800 - 1,500 172 A LARGE LIME-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE ‘FLOW- ER’ PORCELAIN VASE OF LANTERN SHAPE APOCRYPHAL MARK OF EMPEROR QIANLONG CHINA, REPUBLIC / MINGUO PERIOD It rests on a short unglazed ring foot and has an elon- gated egg-shaped body topped by a trumpet neck. It is finely painted in famille rose enamels with various flowers against a covering lime ground. The inner part and the base are covered with a turquoise enamel. The base has a reserved central part of square shape inscribed in iron red with an apocryphal mark of Emperor Qianlong, a six-character one in iron-red and seal / zhuanshu script. H: 40 cm € 2,000 - 4,000 173 A PAIR OF LARGE OR OVERSIZED ‘DAOIST IMMORTALS AND DEITIES’ FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN SHALLOW OF- FERING CUPS DAOGUANG MARK CHINA, QING DYNASTY The spread foot surmounted by a large and widely opened cup with a foliate rim. It is finely adorned in famille rose enamel with Daoist immortals and deities including Magu on her bamboo raft crossing the ocean. The base bears an iron red six-character mark of Emperor Daoguang in kaishu script within a double square. Dimensions (approximately): H: 10,6 cm - L: 40 cm - width: 31 cm Note: Amongst the Daoist deities painted on that pair of offering cups are ‘The Eight Daoist Immortals’ (八仙 ). They are Zhongli Quan ( 锺离 权 ), Lu Dongbin ( 吕 洞宾 ), Zhang Guolao ( 张果老 ), Li Tieguai ( 李 铁拐 ), He Xiangu ( 何仙姑 ), Han Xiangzi ( 韩湘子 ), Cao Guojiu ( 曹国舅 ) and Lan Caihe ( 蓝采和 ). 一对八仙粉彩瓷供杯 道光款识及可能时期 中国,清代 € 1,000 - 2,000 174 A CELADON PORCELAIN VASE OF AR- CHAISTIC FANGHU SHAPE APOCRYPHAL IMPRESSED MARK OF EMPEROR QIANLONG CHINA, LATE QING DYNASTY Of faceted shape, it rests on a spread foot and has a square body surmounted by a trumpet neck applied with two handles. Each face is adorned with a medallion with a ‘Shòu’ ( 寿 - longevity) character. It is all covered with a celadon glaze. The base bears an apocryphal impressed mark of Emperor Qianlong, a six-character one in seal (zhuanshu) script. H: 29 cm € 800 - 1,500
