68 *A MARBLE-INSET MOTHER-OF-PEARL-INLAID BARREL-FORM STOOL, GUDUN CHINA, QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY The variegated red marble top is set in a circular frame above shaped aprons and four outward-curved legs framing conjoined scrollwork, and raised on short bracket feet. The top and sides are finely inlaid in mother-of-pearl with scrolling gourds, plums and pomegranates vines. H: 52,5 cm - w (approximately): 41 cm €1,000 - 2,000 NOTES: 1.
