24 A FINELY MOLDED ‘PEONY’ DINGYAO BOWL SONG TO YUAN DYNASTY, 13TH TO 14TH CENTURY Of conical shape, resting on a short unglazed ring foot, moulded in the interior with a design of peonies, covered overall in a glaze of ivory tone. Offered at auction in an old collector’s box. H: 7,5 cm – D: 19,3 cm €3,000 - 6,000 A LONGQUAN CELADON ‘TWIN FISH’ DISH SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 13TH CENTURY The dish is potted with deep fluted sides carved with upright lotus petals on the exterior, rising to a flat everted rim. The interior is decorated with a pair of sprig-moulded fish. The dish is covered overall with an even glaze of bluish-green tone, with the exception of the foot ring which is burnt orange in the firing.
