The one with the long arms is depicted squatting. Pierced with two himo- toshi. With a signature to the back reading Nagaaki / Yeimei 永明. H: 16,3 cm Weight: 111 grams Note: Ashinaga Tenaga are a pair of yokai in Japanese folkore com- monly described as people from two countries, the “Long-legged Country” and the “Long-armed Country”. The two work together as a team to catch fish by the seashore. They hence are an emblem of the benefits of mutual co-operation. € 800 - 1,500
