46 35 A FAMILLE ROSE PALETTE ‘ROOSTERS, PHEASANTS AND PIGEONS’ PORCELAIN SHALLOW DISH China, Republic / Minguo Period, 20th century Decorated in the famille rose palette with a landscape planted with a blossoming plum tree and animated with roosters, chicks, flying pigeons and pheasants. The outer rim is adorned with a flower pattern. The below is inscribed with an apocryphal Qianlong mark in blue within a double square and also bears an old collector label inscribed with numbers.
