The natural emerald was confirmed to be of Zambian origin, with significant clarity enhance- ment. 189 A RUBY AND DIAMOND DRESS RING The elongated cushion-shaped ruby weighing 4.03cts, within a four-claw setting, to a scalloped brilliant-cut dia- mond surround, the shoulders pavé-set with similarly-cut diamonds, mounted in 18K gold, diamonds approximate- ly 2.50cts total, with indistinct maker’s mark, French assay mark, ring size M½ € 5,000 - 6,000 Accompanied by a report from the GRS laboratory in Swit- zerland, stating that the ruby weighing 4.03cts, is natural, of vivid red hue, with indications of heat treatment and/or minor residues.
