65 80 A GOLD PENDANT, BY BOUCHERON, 1975 The textured oval plaque depicting the pisces astrologi- cal sign, in 18K gold, signed Boucheron, with maker’s mark ‘BLD’, En- glish hallmarks for London 1975, length (including bale): 3.3cm € 500 - 700 81 A SILVER AND GOLD ‘PANTHÈRE’ PENDANT, BY CARTIER The blackened panther with gold eyes and nose, suspending from a polished pendant bale, in 18K gold and 800 silver, signed Cartier, numbered, with maker’s mark ‘LV’ for Lucien Vachey, French assay marks for silver and 18K gold, length (including bale): length 5.3cm € 1,500 - 2,000 82 A PAIR OF SILVER AND GOLD EARCLIPS, BY CARTIER Each fluted blackened hoop with gold lining detailing and tri-coloured gold reeded sur- mount, mounted in silver and 18K gold, signed Cartier, numbered, with maker’s mark ‘LV’ for Lucien Cachey, French assay marks for silver and 18K gold, length 2.1cm € 1,500 - 2,000 Lucien Vachey was a goldsmith as well as a sculptor. His workshop was registered 45 Avenue des Ternes in the 17th district of Paris from the 1960s until the 2000s. He patented ‘silverplatinum’ which was a special blackened silver alloy. The workshop produced for Hermès and Cartier amongst other famous French brands. He passed away in February 2021 at 96 years old.
