Poiray designed their first watch in 1980 and in 1987 released their beloved Ma Prèmiere collection which could be person- ally customised with the wide range of straps which could be easily changed due to the unique clasp opening. Poiray is a House which prides itself on its ability to be both classic and edgy, and therefore it makes sense that French actress Isabelle Adjani, a winner of five César awards, was chosen as the face of the brand. Today Poiray is led by Director Aurélie Bidermann who brings inf luences from the cities of Paris and New York, as well as her love of literature, into the Houses designs.
