Monteleone has recently begun to produce her own line of jewellery with great success under the Gabri brand. Due to her exciting use of materials in jewellery design such as bronze, aluminium, and semi-precious stones, such as rock crystal and moonstone alongside diamonds, she has been iden- tified as a designer to watch. Lot 224 captures Monteleone’s modern approach to ring de- sign, pleasingly setting the moonstone asymmetrically which gives the piece a daring and youthful air.
