He was hired as an apprentice by Seaman Schepps and continued a working relationship with that firm until 1992. Schepps became known as “Americas Court Jewel- ler”, creating bold and classic-yet-whimsical designs, which no doubt influenced Aldo.AfterWorldWar II, he set up his own company to manufacture his pieces, of which many of the designs he copyrighted and he continues to make beautiful pieces today. The 1960s shell bracelet detailing cabochon turquoise and coral set in a warm gold is consistent with the influ- ence that Schepps (known for huge luscious pieces with exotic materials) had on Del Noce. This bracelet is a bold, fun summer piece, adding a splash of bohemian glamour to the wearer.
