In 1999, Caroline Scheufele, co-president of Chopard, paid tribute to the Russian poet Alexandre Pushkin in the 200th anniversary year of his birth. Chopard honoured his innovative spirit by combining gold, pearls, diamonds and other precious stones to the Push- kin collection. It is believed that only 3 of the same watch, including this one, were produced.
