Having launched her first jewellery collection in London, she returned to NewYork and had her collection in the top American stores, such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as in Harrods in London. She then decided to open her first retail space in London in 1997, and found a perfect spot onWalton Street in Knightsbridge. Her treasure trove of a shop soon became known as an A list destination with the international set who loved her unexpect- ed combinations of stones and materials, Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sarah Jessica Parker are all fans. Percossi Papi has been handcrafting exquisite jewellery in his Rome atelier since 1968. Inspired by antiques and his Mediter- ranean heritage, the designer uses traditional techniques and an array of precious stones to create jewellery in limited quantities.A number of his pieces have been used on cinema sets such as ‘Eliz- abeth:The Golden Age’ where Cate Blanchett wears numerous pieces by Percossi Papi.
